My family went for a Birthday Dinner at the Panda Inn in Ontario, CA location. They are located next to the 10 fwy. I highly recommend Yelpers if you are planning on going as a group, to make a reservation for an earlier time, in my personal opinion. As well as parking could be a challenge, depending on the time of day in my opinion. By the time we left, there was a lot of people waiting to be seated. When we are arrived, we were welcomed by the front staff and they took us to our table. It's been a long time that I have been to Panda Inn, but I was very eager to have Panda Inn. Our server brought us the menus and took some time in deciding what to order. We decided to order: Orange Chicken, Broccoli Beef, Beef Fried Rice, Beef Lo-Mein, Honey Walnut Shrimp and Veggie Egg Rolls. After we ordered, we waited and couldn't help noticing modern Asian decor inside; really nicely done. When our user was brought one by one, I could smell that it was prepared fresh and the portions were meant to share. The Orange Chicken was really good and the breading and flavor is much better than Panda Express in my opinion; more refined. The Honey Walnut Shrimp was another favorite. The Walnuts were candied perfectly and the shrimp was a good size in each serving, in my personal opinion. All of the dishes we ordered were excellent and delicious in my personal opinion; fresh and had plenty of flavor. Our server was okay and to be fair it was packed on the day we went. Our overall experience was great and the food and portions were was worth going. In my personal opinion, I would recommend Panda Inn if you want to try Gourmet Chinese Food. Next time we go, we would like to try their other dishes.

I didn't think a fancy Panda Express would impress me so much! I'm a fan of regular Panda Express when I'm in a pickle for something quick and one of my friends wanted to try this place for this birthday. We made a reservation ahead of time and they were very accommodating for our big party, there is a $100 deposit that will be used towards the bill. Our server, Caton was excellent and very attentive as well! The ambiance does feel like a very fancy Chinese restaurant, perfect for family style. A lot more options than your traditional Panda Express with everything delicious! I don't think anyone complained of a single bad dish. I feel that some of the classics like the orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp tasted similar to how you would get it in Panda Express, but no complaints about that! My party ordered a lot but a few favorites include: -Spicy eggplant tofu: Very delicious and saucy, a must pair with white rice -Panda Beef (kinda like the Beijing Beef at Panda Express but in my opinion a lot better and crispier) -Singaporean noodles: A classic simple homemade dish my grandma would make a lot and this reminded me a lot of it. Definitely go for it. We didn't expect them to provide plain white rice but they did with free refills At the end you also get chocolate dipped fortune cookies, a nice dessert to end the night! Overall, Panda Inn is definitely IN my to go back list, while I will still enjoy my occasional Panda express as these locations are more common.

This restaurant has always been one of my family's favorite restaurants to go to when celebrating special occasions. Just a tip, if you are celebrating with a big party, I would recommend making reservations in advance. Unfortunately, I was unable to make reservations, so I had to arrive early and put my name on the waitlist, which was about a two hour wait. But if you have tried the food, it is definitely worth the wait. They have private dining areas for big parties, as well as an open seating section for smaller seats. It is very large inside and gets really busy. Our family always orders the same thing - egg, drop soup, honey, walnut, shrimp, green beans, chicken, fish in black, bean sauce, crispy beef , pan, fried noodles, and eggplant and tofu (not pictured). Definitely recommend this place!

This was my second time at this restaurant. I had to try their lunch menu. There's a good selection and the lunch comes with a choice of soup (egg drop or hot and sour), a veggie eggroll, rice (white or brown), and your choice of protein ( all for under $18). We also ordered a chicken noodle dish, I can't remember if it was the lo main or something else. Either way, everything was delicious and freshly made! Also, they have THE BEST fortune cookies. I would definitely recommend coming here for lunch.

Returning to Panda Inn after so many years was like reuniting with an old friend who somehow hasn't aged a day! It's been over 30 years since I first dined there, yet walking in felt wonderfully familiar. The moment we stepped inside, the staff greeted us warmly, setting the tone for an evening that felt as special as my first visit. The service was impeccable from start to finish--attentive without being overbearing, with someone even holding the door for us on our way out. But the real treat was the food. So many of my favorite dishes were still on the menu, including the unforgettable sweet and pungent chicken, walnut shrimp, Panda beef. It all tasted just as I remembered, with its perfect balance of flavors that brought back a flood of memories. We also tried the bok Choy with black garlic it was so beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. Delicious! I will be added that to my go to list. And to top it all off, the fortune cookies--now dipped in white chocolate--were a delightful surprise. Somehow, they tasted even better than before! Panda Inn has truly stood the test of time, both in quality and ambiance. It's rare to find a place that can maintain such high standards for decades, and I'm thrilled to know it's still the gem I remember. If you haven't been in a while, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit--you won't be disappointed!
